Understanding Licenses
Each Commando Suite product requires a valid license to operate. Licenses are tied to your C Logic Factory account and can be activated on a limited number of MT5 accounts.
License Types
Subscription Licenses
- Monthly, quarterly, or annual billing
- Active as long as subscription is current
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled
- Can be upgraded to longer terms
Activation Limits
Each license allows activation on a specific number of MT5 accounts:

Activating Your License
Step 1: Find Your License Key
- Log in to C Logic Factory
- Go to Dashboard → My Licenses
- Find the product you purchased
- Click View License Key
- Copy the key (format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)
Step 2: Enter in MT5
- Attach the EA to a chart in MT5
- In the Inputs tab, find "License Key"
- Paste your license key
- Click OK
Step 3: Verify Activation
Successful activation shows:
- "License validated" message in Experts tab
- EA icon shows a smiley face
- Dashboard shows the account as activated
Managing Activations
Viewing Active Accounts
In your dashboard under My Licenses, you can see all MT5 accounts where your license is activated, including:
- MT5 account number
- Broker name
- Last connection time
- Activation date
Deactivating an Account
If you need to free up an activation slot:
- Go to My Licenses
- Click on the license
- Find the account to remove
- Click Deactivate
- Confirm the action
Note: You can only deactivate accounts once per 24 hours to prevent abuse. Plan your activations carefully.
Transferring Licenses
Licenses are non-transferable between C Logic Factory accounts. If you need to change the email associated with your account, contact support.
License Expiration
What Happens When a License Expires
- The EA stops executing new trades
- Existing positions are NOT affected
- You'll receive email reminders before expiration
- Dashboard shows expiration warnings
Renewing Your License
- Go to My Licenses
- Click Renew on the expired license
- Select your billing cycle
- Complete payment
- License is immediately active again
Troubleshooting
License Not Validating
- Double-check the license key for typos
- Ensure your subscription is active (not expired)
- Check if you've exceeded activation limits
- Verify internet connection
Account Already Activated Error
This means the MT5 account is already using an activation slot. If you've reinstalled MT5 or changed brokers with the same account number, the old activation may still be registered. Deactivate the old entry from your dashboard.
