Setup Process
Step 1: Get Your Connection Key
- Go to Dashboard → Commando AT
- Copy your unique API Key
- This key links the EA to your account
Step 2: Install the EA
Follow our Installation Guide to add Commando AT to your MT5.
Step 3: Configure Settings
When attaching AT to a chart, configure these essential settings:
| Setting | Description |
|---|
| API Key | Your connection key from dashboard |
| License Key | Your Commando AT license |
| Risk Per Trade | % of account per setup (e.g., 1%) |
| Max Daily Loss | Stop trading after this % loss |
| Max Trades | Maximum concurrent positions |
Step 4: Select Groups
In your dashboard, select which subscribed groups AT should execute setups from. You can enable/disable groups at any time.
How It Works
- A group leader publishes a new setup
- C Logic Factory servers send the setup to your AT
- AT validates the setup against your filters
- If approved, AT calculates position size based on your risk settings
- AT executes the trade with SL and TP levels
- As the leader updates the setup (TP hit, BE move), AT follows
Dashboard Monitoring
From your dashboard, you can:
- See all active AT positions
- View pending setups awaiting execution
- Check connection status of your terminals
- Review execution history
- See which setups were skipped and why
Safety Features
Confirmation Mode
Enable "Confirm Before Execute" to receive a notification before each trade. You can approve or reject within a time window.
Emergency Stop
From the dashboard, you can instantly:
- Pause all AT execution
- Close all open positions
- Disconnect terminals
Multiple Terminals
You can run AT on multiple MT5 terminals (different brokers/accounts) with the same license. Each terminal connects independently and executes based on its own risk settings.
Best Practices
- Start Small: Use 0.5-1% risk until comfortable
- Test First: Run on demo account for at least 2 weeks
- Monitor Daily: Check dashboard regularly
- Set Limits: Always use daily loss limits
- VPS Recommended: For 24/7 operation, use a VPS
VPS Recommendations
For uninterrupted automated trading, we recommend running MT5 on a Virtual Private Server (VPS). This ensures your EA stays connected even when your computer is off.
