- Go to Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Enable "Allow automated trading"
License Validation Failed
If you see "License invalid" or similar errors:
- Check for typos: Copy-paste the license key from dashboard
- Check expiration: Ensure your subscription is active
- Check activations: You may have exceeded activation limit
- Check internet: EA needs internet to validate
EA Not Executing Trades
If the EA is running but not placing trades:
For Commando AT:
- Verify API key is correct
- Check if you have active group subscriptions
- Verify groups are enabled in your AT settings
- Check if there are pending setups in your dashboard
- Review your filters (instruments, direction, etc.)
For Commando MS:
- MS only manages trades you place manually
- Ensure you have open positions for it to manage
- Check magic number settings match your trades
Connection Lost / Reconnecting
If the EA keeps disconnecting:
- Check your internet stability
- Restart MT5
- Remove and re-attach the EA
- Check firewall/antivirus isn't blocking MT5
- Try a VPS for more stable connection
"Trade context busy" Error
This means MT5 is processing another operation:
- Wait a few seconds and the EA will retry
- Avoid running multiple EAs that trade the same symbols
- Don't manually interfere while EA is executing
"Not enough money" Error
- Insufficient margin for the trade size
- Reduce risk percentage in EA settings
- Ensure account has adequate balance
- Check if existing positions are using margin
EA Logs
Check logs for detailed error information:

- Look for red/yellow messages from the EA
- Take screenshots for support if needed
Reinstalling the EA
If issues persist, try a fresh installation:

- Download fresh copy from your dashboard
- Copy to Experts folder
- Restart MT5
- Refresh Navigator and re-attach
Broker-Specific Issues
EA Doesn't Work with My Broker
Commando Suite works with any MT5 broker. However, some brokers have restrictions:
- Ensure your account type allows Expert Advisors
- Some brokers disable EAs on certain account types
- Check with your broker if you're unsure
Symbol Not Found
Different brokers use different symbol names:
- EURUSD vs EURUSDm vs EURUSD.r
- The EA attempts to match symbols automatically
- If issues persist, contact support with your broker name
Still Having Issues?
If none of the above resolves your issue:
- Take screenshots of the error messages
- Note your broker and account type
- Export your EA logs
- Contact support with these details
